On May 12th, 2010 CRC proudly celebrated the official recognition of the launch of Alouette 1 as an event of national historic significance.

The Communications Research Centre (CRC) will be among several international broadcast labs invited into the International Research Park section at the upcoming National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention in Las Vegas.

CRC’s Semra Gulder has been selected to participate in the Industry Canada - Canadian Women in Communications 2010 Jeanne Sauvé Convergence Program.

CRC has recently teamed up with industry partners Rohde & Schwarz and Moseley Broadcast to establish a test bed for evaluating mobile digital television (DTV) in the Ottawa area.

CRC's Dr. John Lodge was among honourees recognized at the IEEE banquet held in Ottawa on November 20, 2009.
