Case #10262
CRC-COVLITE is a sophisticated path loss estimation tool with a library of propagation models including the renowned CRC-PREDICT model. It includes supportive tools and features that allow for comprehensive simulation of single transmitter configurations. With practical measurement comparison features, CRC-COVLITE can act as a test bed for propagation models.
Founded on CRC-COVLAB, CRC-COVLITE is a landmark product that brings the capabilities, features and performance of expensive planning tools to a much more accessible product to match your technical requirements and your budget.
FEATURES/SPECIFICATIONS
- Propagation models: CRC-Predict v.3.21, v.2.08r2, v.2.07, Okumura-Hata, ITU-R Rec. 370-7, ITU-R Rec. 1146, ITU-R Rec. 1546, ITU-R Rec. 368-8, ITU-R Rec. 1147, Egli, TIREM, Longley-Rice v.1.2.2, FCC point-to-point, F(50,50) curves and free-space. New propagation models can be included.
- Result types: Field Strength (µV/m or dBµV/m), Measured Power (µV, dBm or dBW), Path Loss (dB), Power Flux Density (dBW/m2) and Signal-To-Noise Ratio (dB).
- Digital elevation model: support for standard formats such as DTED, USGS, CDED, Computamaps, SRTM1 and SRTM3 (NASA), CRC (500 m) and CRC-COV native format. Other DEMs can be supported by the means of add-ins or format translators. Optionally, a generic ASCII-to-raster converter can be used to create a DEM compatible.
- Land cover models:
CRC-COVLITE Standard: Create legend, Custom antenna editor, Layer editor, Point-to-point link and Position transmitter using terrain elevation.
CRC-COVLITE Professional: Create legend, Custom antenna editor, Layer editor, Line of sight, Matrix statistical analysis of data, Path interrogator, Point-to-point link, Position transmitter using terrain elevation, Power meter and Push pin overlay.
- Import/Export/Printing:
CRC-COVLITE Standard: Export to vector data in the MapInfo interchange file format (*.MIF) with its associated data files (*.MID) and prints project display and parameters to any Windows compatible.
CRC-COVLITE Professional: Import/export vector data in the MapInfo interchange file format (*.MIF) with its associated data files (*.MID), import/export bitmaps overlays in the *.BMP format, import measurements from text file (*.TXT) and prints project display and parameters to any Windows compatible.
- User interface: User-friendly Windows style user interface with pull-down menus, floating toolbars and contextual right click mouse support.
