CRC's Technology Transfer Office (TTO) is dedicated to commercializing the R&D that is generated in its world-class laboratories. Its mandate is to protect, manage, and exploit CRC's intellectual property (IP) portfolio and maximize value for CRC and Industry Canada, while providing industrial benefits to small and medium sized Canadian companies.
The TTO offers a bridge between private companies and CRC's laboratories in bringing technologies to the marketplace. IP that is developed by CRC's innovative engineers and research scientists is protected by patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret, or any combination of these protection mechanisms.
The TTO is the primary point of contact for companies and other entities that wish to engage CRC under various forms of collaborative agreements and license arrangements.
