This facility is equipped to measure earth-space propagation phenomena with satellite beacon monitoring terminals and radiometric skynoise receivers, and to measure meterological quantities such as rain rate, temperature, etc. The site is currently configured to measure 20.2 GHz and 27.5 GHz satellite beacon signals, along with radiometric skynoise at 12 and 20 GHz.
