GigaPOP

In partnership with NRC, a Federal GigaPOP is located in Ottawa. The GigaPOP is a distributed facility with equipment located at CRC and NRC connecting to the main equipment colocated with the CA*net 4 node at 264 Albert St. The GigaPOP provides connectivity to CA*net 4, Canada's Research and Innovation Network which is used to access major research institutions and universities for R&D purposes.
