A Track Record of Achievements

BADLAB^TM has established a number of impressive achievements, including:

	the first two-way HDTV telemedicine video conference using ATM (CA*net II) with CRL-Japan, February 1998 the first transatlantic use of ATM for an artificial heart demonstration connecting doctors of the Ottawa and Berlin Heart Institutes, more than 5,000 kilometres apart
G7 application trials with T. Berkom-Germany, EXPERT-Switzerland, CSELT-Italy, and CRL-Japan the extension of ATM over satellite offering broadband connectivity to remote locations for tele-education, telemedicine or industrial applications extension of ATM over a broadband wireless network for testing local loop connectivity.
