Networks of NCPs

IDEAL-IST

Your Global partner Search and Support Network for your ICT projects reduces the barriers faced by organisations wishing to participate in the ICT programme by offering transnational partner search capabilities. Provides a web-based platform thus making it the ideal tool for:

  • joining ICT projects
  • finding partners for your project idea
  • finding services to support you in your ICT project

It is a European Commission supported project with over 60 National Contact Points (NCPs) to assist in successful partner searches.

Canada through CRC as an Associate Partner of the Ideal-ist project enables researchers or organizations to submit a Partner Search directly to the network. It will assist in finding appropriate partners with the necessary skills and expertise to carry out project activities and achieve the expected results. The Quality Control Team provides feedback and expertise as your project relates to the Current Call for Proposals.

European Research Infrastructures Network of NCPs (EuroRis-Net)

Under FP7 - a Research Infrastructure (RI) National Contact Point (NCP) project was funded, bringing together 36 countries to facilitate the identification of opportunities and possibilities for collaboration with ICPC countries. The project aims to improve the effectiveness of the RIs NCPs network that will support the overall implementation of the "European Strategy" for building on the Capacities offered by Research Infrastructures. It is envisaged to establish a sustainable and more efficient RIs NCP Network which could be considered as an essential "support Network" for the Scientific Communities, the Industrial Sector and the users of RIs across Europe and connecting to other countries. It will facilitate their efforts and it will be able to support the extension of their performances and capacities in all disciplines.

As the RI NCP, the Communications Research Centre is a partner in "EuroRIs-Net". For more information on EuroRis-Net please visit the following web site : www.euroris-net.eu.
