CRC's Broadcast Technology researchers are exhibiting and speaking at this year's IBC conference, September 11-15, 2009, in Amsterdam.  

Veena Rawat, President of the Communications Research Centre Canada (CRC), was one of several women interviewed in the Online Journal of Space Communications ‘Women in Space' issue.

On June 18, 2009, the Communications Research Centre and SkyWave Mobile Communications Inc. received a technology transfer award from the Federal Partners in Technology Transfer (FPTT).

Since 1999 the Communications Research Centre's Advanced Radio Systems team has been a key player in the development of a Software Communications Architecture (SCA)-compliant software defined radio.

CRC received the "Companies for Conservation" award for its efficiency investments and innovative promotional programs like the "Amp Champ" conservation comic strip.
