CRC's Broadcast Technology researchers are exhibiting and speaking at this year's IBC conference, September 11-15, 2009, in Amsterdam.   

CRC has been sharing its findings and knowledge in digital audio and television broadcasting at the IBC conference for over 15 years.

Visit us at booth #3.D02 in the New Technology Campus
A team of our researchers will conduct live demonstrations of:

  • Openmokast platform, an open source software framework that enables broadcast reception on open handhelds based on Openmoko and Android.
  • Software DAB transmitter including a real-time audio encoding framework for DAB+ and CELT audio, an open source multiplexer and a modulator based on GNU-Radio and the USRP.
  • Real-time and off-line 2D to 3D conversion technique for 3D-TV applications.
  • View interpolation for 3D TV display.
  • Frame Rate Conversion (CRC-FRC) technology.
