Photo of Dr. Ken HillDr. Ken Hill, Researcher Emeritus at CRC, has won a coveted award in the United Kingdom.

The Rank Prize in Optoelectronics, awarded Feb. 25, 2002 in London, England, recognized two American and two Canadian scientists, including Dr. Hill, for their roles in inventing and developing fibre Bragg gratings.
