CRC-COVLAB Family of Products

CRC has a family of Coverage (COV) analysis products to suit different applications

Photo de développement de CRC-COVLAB

For Regulatory agencies and larger Broadcasters who need to assess a network of transmitters, analyse the coverage and interference or investigate alternative propagation, land models or transmitter technologies then COVLAB provides a rich set of tools and alternative models to choose from when analyzing a network.

For small broadcasters, private networks or community stations with one or a few sites and who do not need to assess a wide variety of options the COVLITE product may fit your needs.

For those that want a very basic coverage analysis with a standard propagation model we provide a free web based application COVWEB to calculate the coverage.

Ongoing Research & Development Drives Enhancements

The products have been evolving over the past 10 years as we solidify our research efforts and integrate them into the products. The main Research activities include the:

  • Collection of coverage data documentation.
  • Development of algorithms to model all aspects of communication links.
  • Assessment of the validity of proposed models by comparing simulations results with real experimental data.
  • Developing new models and solutions for new communication technologies, such as digital broadcasting mobile communication and point-to-point systems, for both civilian and military applications.

New Release (May 2012)

We are pleased to offer a new release of CRC-COVLAB and CRC-COVLITE in May 2012.
